No Joey Essex Look for Me! by admin

I feel lost at the moment without my double dose of TOWIE each week! I miss it! And so does my girlfriend.

She even turned around to me last week and said I should buy a pair of orange Ugg boots, just like Joey Essex’s ones!

I quickly told her where to go, but I also needed her ‘real’ help for a new pair of shoes. I don’t know about you but shopping for mens casual shoes is hard.

They are either really boring trainers or shoes that just make you look like a bit of a pratt!

We didn’t manage to get any decent ones on our shopping trip this time – maybe I should just give in and get the orange uggs???

A sparkly new business venture by admin

I've decided to turn a hobby into a potential business, by starting up my own jewellery company.

I've made my own necklaces, bracelets, anklets, and so on for years, wearing them myself of giving them to family and friends, but I've had so many great responses from them I've decided to set up and online store and sell them.

I've already made loads of necklaces with gorgeous glass and plastic beads, in all different styles and for all tastes, and now I'm trying out a few new techniques.

The stuff is all over my house though, so I've ordered a big wooden garden shed which I'm going to make my workstation - it'll be warm all summer and I can use a heater in winter. Then, if all goes well and it takes off, I can get a proper workstation!

V Festival! by admin

I am so excited about V Festival this year! I have my tickets and I am camping all weekend in Red camp in Chelmsford!

Eminem and The Artic Monkeys are headlining, but I am most excited about seeing Plan B. He is amazing and Faith SFX who accompanies him a lot as a beatboxer is brilliant!

Last year it rained on the Sunday most of the day and all night so this year I am going to be well prepared for this and buy myself a pair of cheap hunter wellies for the weekend.

As for the tent, luckily ours lasted so I’m sure we can cope with that again. The worst part is putting it up! I have no clue!

iPad 2 My New Toy by admin

This week I have managed to bag myself an iPad 2! I queued all day to eventually be let in the Apple Shop to run to grab my new toy!

What inspired me to get one was sitting next to someone on the train who was uses his. My friends think I am mad paying over £400 for it when I have a MacBook and an iPhone, but I just think I am completing the collection! And in fairness the only reason I have managed to be able to afford it is because online you can compare gas and electricity prices for your house and in your area and me and my housemates managed to save quite a bit and this month I have saved quite a lot of money by not drinking! (Not drinking was worth it for the iPad! Trust me!)

As soon as I got it home, the iPad was out and I was showing it off. I’m sure my housemates are very jealous! The iPad 2 apparently is lighter and thinner than it’s predecessor (I wouldn’t know!) It has two cameras so you can phone your friends and see each other and there are some really great covers too.

As you can probably tell I haven’t put it down…in fact I am writing this post on it!

80s Bomber by admin

All I can say is wow. Now I don’t really collect bikes but I still think this is awesome and for anyone that might be into collecting or even restoring old bikes then surely this would be a dream come true.
You don’t really see them that often these days but this is an original bike with the iconic giant handlebars, 28inch across to be exact. This is the kind of thing we would probably have seen River Pheonix careering around on in his early movies. Restored this could be the perfect bike for any scenester kid or even just a treasured collectable piece to go with your other retro rides.
A bargain at just £70 too which I found when doing a pretty simple bicycles

search, in my opinion it could probably actually even retail for a bit more given its rarity in todays era.
